The Abrasimeter 09 Modules is intended for determining PEI (Resistance to surface abrasion).
The test consists of exposing the ceramic pieces to abrasive action with loads of balls of different diameters on their surface. Different abrasion phases are achieved by programming the equipment at an increasingly higher number of rotations, with the fixed speed required by the standard (NBR 13818).
