Younexa modernizes its Big Bag packaging line with Innova Group Top technology

The search for greater efficiency, protection and sustainability in industrial operations has led companies from different segments to modernize their packaging lines. A recent example comes from Younexa, an important manufacturer of ceramic chemical compounds, which implemented a automatic packaging line for big bags provided by our international partner Innova Group, reference in industrial packaging solutions. The line is part of an intelligent automation project carried out throughout the factory at the Castellón unit, in Spain, with a focus on increasing safety, productivity and protection of palletized loads.

To meet the challenges faced by the customer, a line with a system was proposed Stretch Hood, which offers efficient cargo protection and maximum security for national and international transport, in addition to waterproofing for outdoor storage. In terms of efficiency, the system consumes less energy and allows a reduction of up to 50% in the film used per pallet, compared to other methods.

The project also included pressing systems, automatic pallet distribution and a self-guided robot (AGV) to transport the big bags to the packaging area, ensuring a fully automated end of line, with integration between all systems. See the main components below:

O PD | PRO by Innova performs automatic distribution of pallets, ensuring continuous supply without the need for manual handling. This reduces the risk of accidents and improves the plant's logistics flow, contributing to a safer and more efficient process.

2. Hydraulic press

To provide greater stability and reduce the volume of the load, the hydraulic press performs the big bag compression. This step generates savings on consumables and energy, reduces transportation costs and facilitates the storage and stacking of units.

3. Hooding system with Stretch Hood

The highlight of the line is the Stretch Hood film application system, an advanced and sustainable technology that offers multiple advantages:

• Hermetic seal against moisture, dust and external agents
• Cold application, without the use of heat, avoiding degradation of sensitive products
• High resistance and elasticity of the film, reducing risks of spillage or contamination
• Significant reduction in plastic use compared to traditional systems
• Film transparency, which facilitates visual identification and product traceability

4. Automated conveying line
